GeschichteIm 1952 George Stephen invented the first ball in Chicago Grill. He was tired of constantly dripping fat that brought the coals to burn and also looked for a way to cook large roasts and cuts of meat carefully. Since he worked in a metal processing company, manufactured the buoys, he took this form as a model and constructed the first kettle grill.

In principle, all ball grills consist of two almost equal halves. The bottom half is the brazier, the fuel is not directly on the floor of the hemisphere. The coals get through the ventilation system from the bottom and thus produce more oxygen faster a long and constant heat. It is not usually adjustable stainless steel. The upper half has a detachable ball control, ventilation holes, and some models have a thermometer. The kettle grill stands on three legs, which are usually provided with two wheels. The fabricated devices are quite massive place so easily in the garden and are wobbling on any surface.
